We are monitoring the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in our community
and are in regular contact with local officials. Our top priority is always the health and safety
of our participants, volunteers, staff, and spectators.
There are currently no scheduling changes to the 2020 Greensboro Summer Solstice event,
however we are postponing all Vendor Registration by 4 weeks to April 12th, 2020.
We will provide ongoing updates as necessary.
You are welcome to send in your Body Artist application in the meantime.
Applications will be reviewed and acceptance or non-acceptance notices sent out by April 12th.
Once Vendor Registration is open, accepted Body Artists
will be sent a link to complete their registration and payment.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2020 GREENSBORO SUMMER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL BODY ARTISTS ARE OPEN!
We welcome professional body artists that are ready to display their top quality art on the thousands of beautiful walking canvases that this festival attracts!
For the safety of our attendees, all body artists must use approved products:
Face & Body Paints: Face and body painting can only be provided under the condition that you use only FDA-compliant face and body paints. These water-based formulas are specifically designed to be hypo-allergenic, gentle and easy to remove with mild soap and water. “Non-Toxic” does not mean “safe for skin.” NO Acrylic craft paints, watercolor markers or pencils.
Glitter: If you are using glitter, use only skin/makeup grade poly glitters. Metallic craft glitter should not be used for face painting. The only safe glitters for face painting are made of polyester, and should be .008 microns in size or smaller, the size that the FDA classifies as “cosmetic size” and safe for use on skin.
Henna: Only 100% pure, natural henna. No black or chemically-adulterated henna.
Airbrush Body Paint: Only Non-Toxic, FDA-compliant paints allowed.
If you are interested in being a body artist, please fill out the form below. We will let you know within two weeks of your submission whether or not you have been selected. If you are selected, you will be emailed a link where you can complete your registration and payment. Spaces will not be reserved without registration and full payment.
Single Space – 10’x10’ – $125.00
(Single spaces can be shared with more than one vendor.)
Double Space – 10’x20’ – $200.00
(Double spaces can be shared but must be connected. They may not be purchased to use as separate vendor spaces.)
Please note: Registration will not be considered complete without full payment. Cancellations will be refunded until June 6th, 2020. All refunds are subject to a $5 Administrative Fee. After June 6th, any cancellations are non-refundable.
